the Grey Keys

The Grey Keys was a Black Keys tribute band. I really hoped this band would stand the test of time. Due to personal problems and other priorities of some members, we never made it past my audition and one rehearsal. It just wasn’t meant to be, although I enjoyed playing the Black Keys music, and I think the world needs a few great Black Keys tribute bands.

I have auditioned for, rehearsed and performed with several bands, and for one reason or the other we are not playing together at this moment. I have tried to record most of the session on my trusted Zoom Q2HD. So the sound quality of the recording is not great. Furthermore, these recordings were never meant to be shared. But since they are part of my musical journey, and I am proud of it although it is not flawless, I have decided to share the recordings because they bring me great memories.
